Mayor of McKinney Avenue
Welcome to the webpage for the Mayor of McKinney Avenue, Ken Shiffmann. This web page is designed to allow all visitors to this page to link onto sites concerning the Uptown neighborhood and to find out what is going on around Dallas. As you may already know, McKinney Avenue is one of the most prestigious, visited and talked about streets in Dallas, Texas. It is featured in every guidebook to Texas. The Social Mayor Network is a non-profit association that was formed in 1998 to assist those people that were moving to Dallas from other regions and could not figure out what to do, where to go, or how to find new friends. Each Social Mayor in Dallas serves a separate region and deals with all types of people. We are Social Mayors only, not political, and we also do not deal with issues in the neighborhoods we serve such as new ordianances, construction, crime, and so on. Social Mayors only perform social functions. By being your Mayor I can help you to become connected to other Social Mayors in Dallas, most notably the Mayor of Greenville Avenue, Mark Pittard, the Mayor of Gaston Avenue, Paul Matthaei, the Mayor of State Thomas Kathy Puckitt, the Mayor of Uptown and the Worthington of State Thomas, Steven Beard, the retired Mayor of Columbus Square, Scott Thompson, the Mayor of the Village, Amy Keller, the Mayor of Champs, Burnell Smith, the retired Mayor of Deep Ellum, Sean Kirkland, the retired Mayor of Uptown Village I, Judy Longoria, the very active Mayor of Main Street Gloria Shaffner, the retired Mayor of Magnolia Station Laura Walko and the active Mayor of Chuys, Patty Simon. In addition, the Social Mayors have a Good Will Ambassador, Stan Schuett, a Social Director of Recreation, Roger Yarbrough, a Social Director of Accountability, Tim Schmidl and a Chief Social Information Director Chrystal Haag. Hopefully ya'll will find information here that will be helpful and rewarding. It will be updated occassionally to provide the latest information on local parties, social events, sporting events and latest news. In addition to this website, please tune in to AM 1000 SMBN, The Social Mayors Broadcasting Network, the true station of the millenium. The only AM 1000 station anywhere. This station can best be heard locally in the Uptown area and will give updates on all social events also. Every week the honorable Mayor of Greenville Avenue publishes a world renowned newsletter named "On the Avenue". The Social Mayors' constituents send information to the Mayor during the week about their social events, announcements and charity functions. The Mayor then puts all of this information together and then E-mails the newsletter on Wednesday afternoons to over 850 constituents around the world. If you would like to receive this newsletter then contact the Mayor of Greenville Avenue at moga@socialmayors.com and he will add you to his illustrious list of E-mail recipients. As the Uptown neighborhood grows so will this webpage. You will all have the opportunity to join in our elite network of friends thus enhancing your growth. If you have any questions concerning this webpage or you want other information featured, you can contact me at moma@socialmayors.com. Please sign my guestbook found in the links. As the Mayor of McKinney Avenue I feel it an honor to serve you, my loyal and faithful constituents.
