MEET THE MAYOR OF COLUMBUS SQUARE - SCOTT THOMPSON
Mayor of Columbus Square Scott Thompson received this title after only several months of living in Columbus Square. Columbus Square as you all know had the potential for being the most social of all of the Post Properties in the Uptown area of Dallas. This was due to its lower age group and makeup of diversified residents. Mayor Scott was able to bring this all together by being the only resident to go out of his way to ensure that the residents would get together by the pool and at Starbucks. His telephone exchange listing was large enough to fill anyones phone book. When anyone asked him for a favor he would volunteer his services. Mayor Scott has been known to give residents rides to DFW at 4:00 A.M.!!! He was the only resident to setup their own volleyball net by the pool. He goes out of his way to provide recreation and entertainment for all of Columbus Square residents. He has turned Columbus Square into the "in place" to be even for non-residents. When people visit their friends at other Post properties, they usually end up at Columbus Square where Mayor Scott has something going on. He is very dedicated to his building, he usually does not stray very far in case the residents need to contact him.
