MEET THE MAYOR OF GREENVILLE AVENUE

MAYOR OF GREENVILLE AVENUE - MARK PITTARD - The most well known of all of the Mayors in Dallas. Mark Pittard has been the Mayor of Greenville Avenue for many years, he did not title himself such due to his respect for the elected Mayors of Dallas. As Dallas grew and continues to grow quickly the people felt there was a need for Mayors to represent important regions of Dallas. The most popular and most well known street in Dallas is Greenville Avenue. Greenville Avenue is the most visited street in Dallas by residents and tourists. It is so large that it is divided into Upper, Lower and Lowest Greenville Avenues. Mark Pittard knows it better than anyone in Dallas. His homebase is Stan's Blue Note located at 2908 Lower Greenville. It is here that Mark holds meetings with all of the Mayors of Dallas. He is the senior and most respected of all of the Mayors. He is known to walk quietly throughout the weekend crowds on Greenville Avenue. He prefers it this way so that his citizens do not feel obligated to buy him a beer. He will always check with the owners and bartenders of every bar and club he goes to to make sure all is well. Outside of his Mayorialship activites, he is also known to many as the Dallas Stars best fan. His picture can be seen on the inside wall at the southeast entrance to Reunion Arena. As we all watch the games on TV we occasionally hear someone pounding on the glass alongside the goalie. It is the Mayor that we hear. He has single handedly raised the enthusiasm of the crowd and got the Dallas Stars motivated throughout the seasons. The single most, undeniable, greatest accomplishment that any Mayor of Dallas has ever done for their citizens is the founding of the Hall of Fame. Mayor Mark Pittard founded and runs this elite organization. Come visit him at Stans for details and be sure to keep up to date on all upcoming events from the H.O.F. party central headquarters.
