1) The Mayor you spot must be in an obscure place where he or she usually does not frequent often. This will discount many spottings such as the Mayor of Gaston Avenue at the Tipperary Inn or the Mayor of Greenville Avenue at Stans.
2) For example if you were to spot the Mayor of Greenville Avenue at the Ballpark in Arlington amongst 55,000 people or perhaps spot the Mayor of the Village ice skating at the Galleria then your spotting counts. Each spotting counts as one point towards your tally.
Prizes shall be awarded on the first weekend of the new month at Stans. The mayorial committee shall decide on the prize depending upon your total tally and the locations and circumstances surrounding the winner's spottings. Each month the prize shall be different , and to avoid fierce competition that may develop amongst our friends the prize each month shall be announced only at the award ceremony. Current Standings; Camille (Rob Soriano's) gets the first point for the month of June for spotting the Mayor of McKinney Avenue jogging along Ross Avenue in downtown Dallas on Sunday June 21 at 12:30 P.M. Even though Rob Soriano and Camille may have spotted the Mayor of McKinney Avenue at the same time, it was Camille who said "I see a Mayor!!".
